FAQ

  • How long can I keep a skip?

You can keep a skip for up to 7 days as part of your standard hire period.

  • What’s the best skip size for a house clear-out?

For most home clear-outs, a 6-yard skip is the most popular choice.
It’s large enough for furniture, household waste, and general clutter without taking up too much driveway space.
If you’re doing a bigger job, like a full house or renovation project, an 8-yard skip may be a better option.

  • Can I extend my skip hire period?

We’ll do our best to accommodate extensions based on availability. If you need your skip for a few extra days, just get in touch and we’ll see what we can arrange.

  • How much does skip hire cost?

Our prices vary depending on the skip sizes. You can view the full range of prices on our Home Page for quick reference.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept card payments over the phone or cash on arrival. Whichever suits you best!

  • Can you collect my skip earlier than planned?

Yes, while our standard hire period is up to 7 days, if you’re finished with your skip early, simply contact us and we’ll do our best to arrange an early collection.
